Fav Starbucks Secret Menu Items

Updated: Jan 8, 2020

Hey hey, I know this is rare of me to post on a Thursday, but here we are. You guys asked for me to make a list of my favorite Starbucks secret menu items, so I DID. This has been really fun to put together, and I hope you really enjoy trying out these exciting new drinks.

I will be basing all of these recipes off of the grande size. If you would like to go up or down in size I recommend changing the number of pumps of syrup accordingly, or you can just message me for the other size recipe. Keep in mind this list is seasonal but should be good until the end of the year. Let's get started. Shall we?

Hot

  • Snicker Doodle Hot Cocoa- Grande White Hot Chocolate with Cinnamon Dolce.

  • Roasty Toasty Flat White- Grande Flat White with 2 pumps Chestnut Praline and 2 pumps Toasted White Mocha, add Nutmeg.

  • Chaiggnog - Grande Chai, no water, substitute eggnog.

  • Raspberry Black and White Mocha- Grande Mocha with 2 pumps dark mocha, 2 pumps white, and 2 pumps of raspberry. Add Dark Chocolate Curls.

  • Caramel Apple Spice- This one is on the menu. I just don't think a lot of people know about it. It's steamed apple juice with Cinnamon Dolce and whipped cream and caramel drizzle.. mmm

  • Peach Juice- Grande Peach Tranquility tea, made with no water, substitute steamed lemonade.

Iced With Coffee

  • Cold Brew- Cold brew, to me, is way better than iced coffee. It is smoother, and tastes less acidic. However, iced coffee is cheaper. Some of my favorite flavor combos to do in either of these are (for grande):

2 pumps Pumpkin Spice, 1 pump Hazelnut, cinnamon powder, and cream.

1 pump White Mocha, 2 pumps Caramel, and cream.

1 pump of Mocha, 2 pumps Toffee Nut, and Sweat Cream.

The possibilities are endless, always try new syrups and cream substitutions. A lot of people really like adding Eggnog, this time of year, instead of cream, as well.

  • Iced Pumpkin Macchiato - Iced Caramel Macchiato, no Vanilla, substitute Pumpkin Spice, add Pumpkin Spice Topping

  • Iced Cocoa Latte- Grande Iced Mocha, 2 pumps Mocha, 2 pumps White Mocha, made with Whole Milk, Whipped Cream, add Mocha Drizzle in cup, top with Cocoa Powder.

Iced Tea/ Refreshers

  • Blue Raspberry Refresher- Very Berry Refresher, with light water, add Blueberry Juice. (also great with no water, substitute coconut milk)

  • Raspberry Field- (pls keep in mind I'm literately just making up names for these.. lol) Matcha Green Tea Lemonade, add Raspberry, add Strawberry Inclusions, add Berry Inclusions.

  • Pink Drink, Violet Drink, and Dragon Drink are on the menu. They are just each refresher we have made with coconut milk instead of water, and they are amazing.

  • Iced Tea Refresher- You can substitute the water added to any tea for a refresher. My favorite example is the Passion Iced Tea with no sweetener, no water, add Strawberry Acai.

Besides there being Strawberry Acai, Mango Dragon Fruit, and Very Berry Hibiscus Refresher juices, there are also Peach, Guava, and Blueberry. You can mix these flavors with Black, Green, Passion, or White Iced Tea, or just simple lemonade tastes good too! Get creative with your taste buds.

Frappuccinos

  • Captin Crunch- Grande Strawberries and Cream Frappuccino, 1 pump caramel, 1.5 pumps toffee nut, 1 pump hazelnut, add Java Chips. (This is strangely so amazing)

(Make sure the barista knows you want "cold bar pumps" these pumps of syrup are smaller than full sized pumps)

  • Peaches and Cream - Grande Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, add peach juice, add Chestnut Praline Topping.

  • Birthday Cake - Grande Vanilla Bean Frappuccino, 2 pumps Hazelnut, add Holiday Sugar Sprinkles.

  • Thin Mint - Grande Matcha Green Tea Cream Frappuccino, Add Java Chips, 2 pumps Mocha, 2 pumps Peppermint, Mocha Drizzle on top.

  • Caramel Dream - Grande Caramel Brûlée Frappuchino, 2 pumps Caramel Brûlée, 1 pump Toasted White Mocha, in a Venti cup, Whipped Cream on the top and bottom. Extra Caramel Drizzle.

I also love to add 1 shot of espresso to any of the current Frappuccinos on Starbuck's Menu. It adds more caffeine and a stronger coffee taste. It will make your Frappuccino really rich.

Of course this is not an all inclusive list. There is no such thing since you can make anything you'd ever want with the ingredients they have. For the time being here are some fun new and exciting treats to keep in your back pocket. Treat yourself this holiday season as you continue to pursue the never ending world of Starbucks coffee. Please let me know if you try any of these drinks and what you thought! Cheers! Talk to you soon.
